Formosa Betrayed is being featured at the San Diego Film Festival! It is the first major Hollywood production that brings the often overlooked history of Taiwan's democracy movement to the big screen. In fact, the three-year project itself is a labor of love by second generation Taiwanese American producer and actor, Will Tiao, who somehow managed to bring on board several respected actors and supporting cast with name-recognition (lead actor James Van Der Beek is up for Best Actor award at the San Diego Film Festival).
The film screening will start at 8pm at the Gaslamp Theater in downtown San Diego. The tickets are sold out now, so I hope you bought one early!
We'll be meeting up for dinner/drinks before the movie at Neighborhood at 6:15pm:
