Exploring Anza Borrego

Explore Anza Borrego with your fellow TAP-SD members during the peak wildflower season! There are tons of places to visit, and we can tailor the trip to points that folks are most interested in. Font's Point is top of the list, with awe-inspiring overlook views of the badlands. For those who are interested in canyoneering, Anza's towering canyon networks are fun to explore, at points a foot wide and 100 feet tall with unique sand formations perched above. Agua Caliente offers natural hot springs with two pools where we can destress the day away soaking in the enriched mineral waters. Travelling offroad will allow us to see unique geological formations like the wind caves and the anticlime. And of course, as this is prime wildflower season, we have lots of options for wildlflower viewing.

We'll eat lunch at Krazy Coyote's Saloon & Grille, a unique location in and of itself. Dinner together back in San Diego is optional. Some of us will also be getting together later in the evening to listen to one of the finest singers of our group, Paul Chen, in a concert at the St. Paul's Episcopal Cathedral (yes, the church was named after him).

We'll be meeting at the Starbucks's at 12889 Rancho Penasquitos Blvd.#A, San Diego, CA 92129 at 9am and carpool to the park. Contact Delphine at quood@yahoo.com for questions.
