Happy Lunar New Year! 2011 is the Year of the Rabbit, so hop on over to the Taiwan Center on Saturday, January 29 to celebrate! This annual celebration starts with dinner (dinner box) and is followed by an evening of performances. Throughout the evening they will have a free raffle.
Although this event is noticeably a first generation Taiwanese, they are very supportive of our group, and attending this is a way to show that we also support them. At least two acts will even have some TAP-SD members, so come on out and cheer them on. The event will end around 9pm; we can hang out afterward too.
Tickets are $10 if purchased in advance, $12 on the day. Tickets can be purchased at the TACC front desk, or contact Mike Chiu (mchiu@tap-sd.org).
