One of our members, an investment professional (4-5 years of experience) and CFA charterholder, will be giving an overview of his take on stock investing. Topics may include a discussion on fundamentals based investing vs. technicals based trading, a basic overview of how value investors might generate outperformance, a basic framework for looking at stocks, common areas to find mispriced stocks, portfolio concentration vs. diversification, among others.
The speaker will not talk about his specific views on any particular company, but he will talk about investing strategies and techniques in a broad sense.
