With a PhD in Bioinformatics and Systems Biology from UCSD, Allison Wu has transitioned her passion for big data analytics from sequencing and imaging data to commercial data. As a data scientist specialized in pricing and digital marketing in Thermo Fisher Scientific, she uses her machine learning and statistics specialty to drive important strategic decisions that oftentimes involve millions of dollars of revenue at a global scale. With a background in biology, bioinformatics and machine learning, Allison is able to provide unique solutions to business problems with highly specialized biotech customers and products. Allison also holds a BS in Life Sciences from National Taiwan University.
Chad Lin is an Associate Market Development Manager at Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. who partners with sales and product management team to create and execute online & offline marketing plans. With a mixture of experience at research institute, venture capital firm, start-up and global biotechnology companies, Chad understands customers need and knows how to build a compelling value proposition to drive successful marketing strategies and business. Chad holds a BS in Biology, an MS in Molecular Medicine from National Cheng Kung University and an MBA from the University of California, San Diego.
