2023 Spring Camping Trip: San Onofre

Join TAP-SD for a camping trip near the beach in May!

The weather is getting warmer - it’s time to go camping! ☀️

TAP-SD has reserved 2 adjacent sites at the San Mateo Campground, in San Clemente, for up to 6 cars/16 people.

San Mateo Campground ⛺️ lies a short distance inland from the 3.5-miles of sandy beaches within San Onofre State Beach. A 1.5-mile Nature Trail connects the campground to Trestles Beach, a world class surfing site. 🌊 San Mateo Creek flows just east of the campground outward towards the ocean creating key riparian and wetland habitats which host some rare and even endangered species. The campsites have coin-operated indoor showers, and flush toilets! 💩

We will set up a group chatroom for the participants to discuss logistics and supplies (camping equipment, carpool, meals, etc.) for this camping trip! Shared costs will be split amongst the participants.

Dates: Friday 5/19 (2pm Check-in) – Sunday 5/21 (12pm Check-out)

Reserve a spot with a $20 deposit by April 30th! The deposit is refundable until April 30th, after which your spot can only be swapped with another attendee.

**Vaccine Policy**

Proof of vaccine completion is required to attend the event and will be checked. Recommended proof of vaccine completion:(https://myvaccinerecord.cdph.ca.gov/). Fully vaccinated persons are those who are ≥14 days post completion of the primary series of an FDA-authorized COVID-19 vaccine.

**Sexual Harassment Policy**
