About the event

In honor of Asian American and Pacific Islander heritage month, the San Diego Business Journal and Asian Business Association are presenting the Asian Pacific Islander Leaders of the Year Awards on May 19th. Join TAP-SD in volunteering as we help celebrate local API business owners and community leaders. We will be helping in various areas that include registration, guest ushering, setup, breakdown, and cleanup. This event will be held at the Westin Gaslamp Quarter Hotel at 910 Broadway Circle. There will be two shifts, from 3pm-6pm and from 6:30pm-10:00pm. Please dress in business casual/ cocktail attire

Parking options: We are reimbursing volunteers for parking fees. There is a parking structure a 1-2 minute walk away at $8/day at 1029 1st Ave. The Westin Hotel is also discounting valet parking to $18/day for this event. Street parking is not guaranteed.
