About the event

School’s out, but help keep students reading as TAP-SD volunteers with Words Alive on Saturday June 18th! Words Alive (http://www.wordsalive.org/) is a non-profit organization that connects children, teens, and families to the power of reading. Our volunteer activities include book sorting and assembling learning kits for youths to enjoy with their families. The learning kits will include books, school supplies, and arts and crafts to help them build healthy reading habits at home through fun activities. Note that masks will be required to comply with Words Alive’s event policies.

*Vaccine Policy: Proof of vaccine completion is required to attend the event. Recommended proof of vaccine completion: (https://myvaccinerecord.cdph.ca.gov/). Fully vaccinated persons are those who are ≥14 days postcompletion of the primary series of an FDA-authorized COVID-19 vaccine.

*Mask Policy: A mask or face covering is required to attend the event.

Thank you!
