Watch a film with TAP-SD! TAP-SD is a proud community partner for the 24th Annual San Diego Asian Film Festival’s (SDAFF) screening of Come Home, My Child. SDAFF is presented by the Pacific Arts Movement, whose mission is to present Asian and Asian American Pacific Islander media arts to San Diego residents and visitors in order to inspire, entertain, and support a more compassionate society. 

• Come Home, My Child, directed by Jasmine Ching-Hui Lee. Documentary, Taiwan. 

• After a full life in Taiwan, Mama Yang moves to New York City, where she discovers a new calling writing letters to Chinese-American inmates. At the same time, she lives with a granddaughter who sometimes feels more distant than the men locked up miles away. A touching documentary about empathy, second chances, and family by blood and by compassion.
