TAP-SD: Cowles Mtn Hike

Cowles mountain trail is one of the most popular trails in San Diego. Join TAP-SD and hike up the mountain to see the beautiful view SD has to offer!

Trail Info: 

Round-trip Distance: 3 miles 

Elevation Gain: 900 ft 

Level: intermediate

Remember to bring water, snacks, sunscreen, hat, good traction hiking shoes, and optional hiking poles! 

Parking: parking lot at the trailhead is very small. Most people park on nearby street parking. 

Restroom: available at the trailhead. 

Details will be emailed to participants a day prior.

Optional lunch to follow the hike.

Vaccine Policy: Proof of vaccine completion is required to attend the event and will be checked. Recommended proof of vaccine completion: (https://myvaccinerecord.cdph.ca.gov/). Fully vaccinated persons are those who are ≥14 days post completion of the primary series of an FDA-authorized COVID-19 vaccine.
