About the event
Join TAP-SD on Saturday, July 11th, at 8:45AM for a nice, breezy hike at the Torrey Pines State Natural Reserve! We will meet at the Torrey Pines Picnic Area near the parking lot to start and hike up N Torrey Pines Road to Flat Rock Beach Trailhead. From there we will take the Beach Trail to get down onto the beach and loop around back to the Picnic Area along the beach! Attendees usually grab lunch together after the hike.
Tips:
Bring comfortable shoes for hiking on trails and on the beach
Bring water and sun protection (TAP will provide some water and sunscreen)
Arrive early to park for free alongside the beach! Carpool if possible as well! (click show more for a map)
