TAP-SD Taiwan Festival - Planning Committee Interest Form

TAP-SD Taiwan Festival is a celebration of culture and community, with a mission to showcase community presence, ignite pride and networks, and showcase Taiwanese culture. 

 

Our inaugural festival in 2024 celebrated our sister city of Taichung and attracted 800+ attendees of all ages and different backgrounds to celebrate Taiwanese culture through fun games, tasty food and cultural activities. In 2025, our "Beyond Boba" festival expanded to 1500+ attendees and showcased the high quality items and creations by Taiwanese and Taiwanese American companies. 

 

TAP-SD’s 3rd annual Taiwan Festival will be in Summer/Fall 2026 and we need your help in the following areas to make it happen! 

- Logistics: responsible for park use and special event permit applications, rentals, insurance, and supplies

- Marketing: responsible for website, physical promotional material, and social media

- Sponsorship: act as point of contact for sponsors

- Programming: act as point of contact for programming partners

- Vendors: act as point of contact for food and merchandise vendors

- Volunteering: manage sign-up, assign shifts, and provide guidance and leadership to day-of volunteers
