2022 Spring Camping Trip: Anza-Borrego

Ever wonder what’s out there in the Anza Borrego desert? What are all those metal sculptures around the state park? Join us for a fun camping trip at Anza Borrego! We have reserved 2 adjacent sites at the Borrego Palm Canyon Campground for up to 4 cars/16 people. The campground has showers and flush toilets! 😇

Dates: Friday 4/29 (2pm Check-in) – Sunday 5/1 (12pm Check-out)

• Galleta Meadows Sculptures - over 130 massive metal sculptures!
• Night star gazing and photography - Borrego Springs is an international dark sky community 😎
• And much more!

Cost: Cost will be decided once we finalize the participants. Cost will cover campground registration fees, firewood, water, group meals. Estimated cost: $45-70.

Meals: Attendees are responsible for their own Saturday Lunches. Get to know your fellow campers as we will split into small groups to cook each of the remaining meals: Fri dinner, Sat breakfast & dinner, and Sun breakfast. Time to get creative!

Carpool: Due to limited car spaces at the campsite, we will arrange carpools. Gas will be split per car.

Camping Equipment: You are responsible for your own sleeping bag/pad/chair/tent. If you need a tent space, please indicate in the Google Form below and we will try our best to match you.

Weather: It is estimated to be 55-85°F that weekend, please plan accordingly.

Reserve a spot with a $20 deposit by April 17th!

Deposit is refundable until April 10th, after which your spot can only be swapped with another attendee.

We will set up a group chatroom for the participants to discuss logistics of this camping trip!

*Vaccine Policy: Proof of vaccine completion is required to attend the event. Recommended proof of vaccine completion: (https://myvaccinerecord.cdph.ca.gov/). Fully vaccinated persons are those who are ≥14 days post completion of the primary series of an FDA-authorized COVID-19 vaccine.
